Today at Hereford Archives, I spoke with someone who was researching THOMAS KINSEY, clergyman of Edvin Ralph, Wacton & elsewhere. I hope that he eventually sees this message.
Diocese of Hereford
Letters of Administration
On 21 August 1802, Letters of Administration were granted to MARY KINSEY (s) of the parish of Wacton in the County of Hereford, widow & relict of the deceased, on the deceased estate of THOMAS KINSEY late of Wacton, clerk, who died intestate.
MARY KINSEY was one of the bondsman
The other two bondsmen were JOHN OWEN of the City of Hereford, serjeant at mace, and JAMES JONES of the City of Hereford, grocer.
The value of the estate was sworn to be under £300.
Rev. Thomas Kinsey was buried at Edvin Ralph on 25 March 1802. A reasonable search of the Hereford Journal failed to discover a report of his death.
If anyone knows the details of the baptism of Rev Thomas Kinsey or simply of the names of his parents, I would greatly appreciate the details.
I do have a little further information about Rev Thomas Kinsey (but not about his family).
