He has a guardian angel looking after him ;)
He is back at work, and they are all puzzled on what to do.  I think a front end loader is called for, far too much carpet and extremely heavy for any man to handle.
I hope he will be home soon.

On another note.  Not certain if it is true or not.  But a lady was found dead holding onto her baby in one of the city malls.

So terribly sorry for all in beautifull Christchurch. My relations and friends too although in the North and their friends on South Island

Those poor souls who are trapped ,the lady who spoke to the news, how brave she tried to be and she must be so so terrified.

That makes me weep at the thought of how claustrophbic it must be. Please God rescue will come for the remaining survivors, soon.

Suzy, your husband was very lucky judging by the apparent weight of those rolls.

I have to go to bed now, stay safe, and I hope to be back with you all tomorrow.

Goodnight and God bless.

As you say Suzy, someone was certainly looking out for him.

I've just been watching the 10 o'clock news as well Spring. I hope by now they have got that poor lady out.

Just heard headlines on Beeb local Radio ..11 survivors rescued but tragically 2 rescuers have lost their lives.

The total of dead is also rising...so terribly sad, and no guarantee that other parts of NZ on the Ring of Fire are safe

Spring

Modified..searched newspapers and can find no mention of rescuers dying ..Hope that was not true. Sadly the number of victims is rising.
