I am building the Mundell family tree and would be interested to hear from anyone with that surname or anyone who knows of any Mundell's.

Any information would be gratefully received Scruffy

The 1851 index for lanarkshire County has one James Mundel aged 18 living in Shotts (ward 655 dist 8 page 27 line 3) ... he was born in Kirkmichael, Dumfriesshire.

Hi
My Great Grandfather was Robert James Mundell and he was married to Margaret Brown.
Their daughter, Margaret Stella(Grant) Brown is my grandmother.  She was born Nov. 18,1885 in Glasgow Scotland.
I was wondering if there might be a connection.

Margaret

Hi Bill

I am afraid you are going to have to be patient and wait for Margaret to respond on her time  ::) She has been on line recently but, for whatever reason, has not yet responded to your last posts. Hopefully, she will soon  :)
