Have a look at this website, Kilgarvin is in the same area, (Attymass), and quite near to the Sligo/Mayo Border.  The Cemetery appears to be in Bonniconlon.  Must enquire about it.

Link pages look interesting too.

A big thank you to all members that have given suggestions to help me find the location for my Grandfather.

A special thank you to Owenwee - I have spoken to the Nephew of my Grandmother, it would appear that the location is Ballinasleva!! and burials at Ballynahaglish.

Hi Heywood,

I feel that I am making progress although very slowly.

I have still not found the Birth of my Grandfather Anthony, but it appears that he did originate from the Knockmore area.

They is a Anthony Jordon aged 18 years on the 1901 Census at Creggaun, Ballynahaglish Parish, but no Father. I have found this on the 'Mayo Family History Centres' but I cannot find it on the 'National Archives of Ireland'.  :(

Hello,

the family are transcribed as 'Gordon' - original looks like 'Jordon'.

Hi Heywood / Shane,

I did find this after my last message, but I had no way of checking against the original. Thanks.
It could be 'Jordan' as on the Mayo Site!!

Nothing found for 1911.

Thank you all again - I think that I will wait until I contact my Grandmother's newphew again in a couple of weeks or until I manage to come over and visit.
