1841 Census Look Up - Bentley
« on: Wednesday 20 April 05 13:04 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help?

We are trying to find a George Edward Bentley b. abt 1826 somewhere in the St. Ives or surrounding district. We would like to know where and who he was residing with in the 1841 census.
At this time he would have been about 15 years old and possibly had the occupation of an Arigultural Labourer and most possibly living in the area mentioned above.

If you can help, then I'd be very gratefull for any information about this person.

Thanks.

1841 is not name indexed so it would be a mammoth task trawling through a whole enumeration district. Needles and haystacks are words that spring to mind!

Sorry!
