Hi,Milly,   I come from Lincoln but live now in London. Anyway I was at the Family History Centre today and have information for you! Ada Mary Milner, born Brigg Dt in Q3 1870 married Thomas John Cranidge (b Crowle 1868). They married in the Glandford Brigg Dt in Q2 1897. In 1901 they are at 144 Brincliffe Edge Road, Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield. Their daughter, Martha Ellen Cranidge was born in Sheffield on 6th March 1905. In Q2 1930 she married Laurence A Jackson in Sheffield. I believe his dates are 5th May 1900 to 1972. Thomas J Cranidge died in Sheffield in 1942, aged 74. His wife, Ada M Cranidge died in Sheffield in 1951, aged 80. Martha Jackson died in August 1989 in Sheffield aged 84. I believe she and Laurence had a son named Lawrence B Jackson, b 1932. I printed out photographs of Mary Ann Milner and her husband, from Ancestry.com. If you want them you will need to send me an address to post them to, by Direct Message. It is just possible Alice married in Hendon, but I doubt it! Ada's two sisters are very elusive. Anyway, I hope this is interesting to you.     Andrew Wilson

i would like to thank you andro for the hard work you put in for me the photo is is that one where she is sat down (because she was crippled with arthritis) and George is stood next to her if it is i have that one and that Geoff another loose end tied up just another 500 to go (only joking 499) ha ha but agree with you the other are elusive at the moment i do have a lead   that they may have run a sweet shop in west street in scunthorpe so maybe a business directory or phone directory or electoral role may give me the answer i hope so  thanks again both of you  millyput

   Hello,

Yes, the photo from 1904 is the one with Mary Ann seated.
