Looking for parents of Jane AVERY
« on: Wednesday 02 March 11 13:12 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the parents of Jane AVERY born c1800 probably Ruscombe, Berkshire.  She married John Horne on the 13th October 1819 at Ruscombe Parish Church.

She died before 1841 so I have very little information to go on.  Their children were all baptised in Ruscombe.

Could anyone look and see if there is a baptism or burial for Jane in Ruscombe or Wargrave please.
PLEASE SCAN ALL PICS AT 300-600 DPI FOR RESTORATION PURPOSES.  THANK YOU!

Hi,

In the Berks Burial Index (exBFHS) there is only one "Horne" in the Ruscombe  section;
18-4-1833 Phoebe HORNE (5) Ruscombe taken from BTs

Other than that there is only this burial ;
5-12-1875 John HORNE (64) abode, Woodley Buried in Sonning St.Andrews

Alan

Belcher, Elderfield, Froude, Saunders,  Stimson, Tame,   in Berks
Artis, Gray in Norfolk

Thanks for that info, but I have Phoebe's burial. She was John & Jane Horn(e)s daughter.

I have found a death registered in 1839 Wokingham on FreeBMD, for a Jane Horne which could be her.
