Baptisms

Hello All.

I am trying to find the Baptisms of my Great Grandmother and her siblings.

Parents George William Stephenson and Florence Mary Wilson.

William Oswald Stephenson Born 28.06.1895 Staindrop

Geroge Herbert Stephenson Born 16.03.1897 Gainford

Florence Lena Stephenson Born 09.09.1898

Hilda Stephenson Born 27.12.1901 Piercebridge

Gerald Wilson Stephenson Born 27.06.1903 Piercebridge

Stanley Stephenson Born 1907 Piercebridge.

This is not terribly helpful but you should be able to find William Oswald's baptism at Durham Records Online (for a fee): they have Staindrop baptisms up to 1898. Their Gainford records, which probably include Piercebridge, only run to 1851 so for the rest of the children you will need to find a RootsChatter who visits the Durham Record Office and can look them up for you.

The new familysearch site have the Bishops' Transcripts for Staindrop to around 1900, tho you might of already paid on DRO.
