Let's complete it first.

"Sir,
Her Majesty having been graciously pleased on the recommendation of the General Commanding in Chief to restore to the soldier named in the margin the benefits of  ??? , the whole of his service, as a ground for other advantages. I have the honor to request that you cause such a restoration to be duly  ???  in the Record and Register of __ the said soldier referring thereon to the number and date of communication.
The additional  ??? for length of service, or for Good Conduct, to which the soldier shall have become entitled by this Act of Restoration may be issued and charged from 31 July 1854, the date of Her Majesty's gracious order on the subject.
The portions of time hereby allowed to be reckoned, are not to include and period of absence without authority or of confinement followed or preceeded by conviction."
