This is Cousin Robert. I am watching this site on a computer in my local library,and I presume it is me you refer to in your post.

I have tried to email you ,but the address I have is either incorrect or an old one. I will ring you with my friend's address tonight.....I would like you to send me the data we talked about the other day,and the memory stick you have.

Hi sorry have been busy, re Robert Black, he moved to Charters Towers with his family and was there for some time, my Great Grandfather Alexander moved to Cairns early 1900as my Grandfather was born in Cairns 1905 (James).  Some believe that Robert died in 1899 @ Charters Towers and some think that he is buried in Dunolly Victoria (1901)

BLACK—On June 16th, 1899, at Bay Street, Botany, N.S.W., Robert Black, senior, late of Charters Towers, aged 63 years. Deeply regretted.

The Northern Miner 8 Nov 1919
The Relatives and Friends of MRS, ROBERT BLACK and son are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral of her late beloved HUSBAND and his late beloved father. The Cortege will move from her residence Philipson Road (off Mount Leyshon Road), at 2.30 pm. TO-DAY (Saturday), 8  November, 1919.
