Marriage for Cyril Burton and Joan Love

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble finding a marriage for a Cyril Burton from Leeds. Supposedly he married a Joan Love but I haven't been able to find the marriage on Ancestry or Genes Reunited. I think they were married sometime between 1915-1935. I'm helping a friend find their roots.

This couple had a son Clive Stewart Burton.

I'm not sure that this is very helpful.  I looked up Clive Stewart Burton and found Clive S Burton born in the September 1932 quarter in the Leeds N district.  Just one thing: his mother was given as White.  Is this your Clive Stewart Burton?

I then looked up a marriage for Cyril Burton and found that Alfred C [does this stand for Cyril] Burton married an Alice White in the June 1924 quarter in Warwickshire.  :(

Nothing like Joan Love.

Thanks so much for this info.

I am searching this info for a friend. I'm pretty sure now that I've checked all my resources that she has the names wrong. I will get more information tomorrow and repost.
