Hi
There is a guide at the top of the London and Middlesex boards on wills. The first part will help with information for obtaining a copy of the will. The last section deals with Death Duty Registers.
1791 is well before the start of civil registration 1st July 1837 and the state's growing involvement in birth registration.
If his father was in the British military then the eventual baptism might be before a military chaplain and therefore in the General Registry Office Overseas (army) index.
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/bmdatseaorabroad.htm?WT.lp=rg-5917If his father was in the East India Company military or working as a civil servant for the East Indian Company then the baptism might have taken place in India (if an outward journey). If so the baptism will be held in the Indian Office records at the British Library some of which are online (though earlier are less likely to be online)
