Alan first of all I hope your wife makes a good recovery

I hope I have not upset anyone on this thread by giving you my thoughts
I feel i am a little of a New Zealander with my grandfather McKenzie being born in Dunedin .they returned to Scotland in 1890

Last night with nothing to watch on our TV we watched the DVD we made in December 2010 of our holiday  there and when the part came of Christchurch in the Cathedral we both just froze

I said to my husband many of you would like to see this as the little ones are there singing .My thoughts were hope all of them are safe

Before we left Lyttleton I videoed and we watched the trucks moving about the harbour in those high up vehicles shifting containers ,we just said how would those poor men get from those at the time of the quake
we can only but imagine  This is the only way we can share our thoughts with you all by you being able to write and let us know your daily happenings and I thank for that

 ... quite a strong quake in Kaikoura at 4.43  4.9! ... wouldn't suggest a few deep breaths for your wife Alan, that would be extra painful on the ribs! ... hope it all comes right soon.

I'm Still keeping up with you all

Its been a busy day today and a lazy one
Was at my sister in laws party last night

No I hadn't any drink i was the taxi
for those who did have a drink

I have just had a remarkable photo sent from my friend in Napier
maybe most of you have seen it it is very scary

The rock on TM has been sold to the Mt Hutt skifield for $60,000 all proceeds to the earthquake fund
