Maybe some of the R.C's out there can help me.  I have come out in mouth ulcers, it is so hard to eat, drink and talk (much to the relief of my children) Any home remedies?  Should I use a needle to pop the painful one under my tongue?

Suzy W

I don't know if you can get this in NZ or even if you can get to a pharmacy, but Kenalog is wonderful.  Horrible in the mouth, like sandpaper but will get rid of them overnight. It's in dental paste, so it sticks to the ulcer.

Good luck,
Alison

Colloidal Silver spray........ it will rid your mouth of ulcers overnight.   My Granddaughter used to get them really bad, the CS spray was recommended by the doctor.   You should be able to pick it up at any chemist or Health Food shop.

Hi there!

Message for MalNZ - I  did post a message for you, but perhaps you did not see it. I asked you if I may email your account of your experiences. I have copied it to my emails, but would not send it without your say so.

I do hope that everyone is managing to cope with what are obviously very difficult conditions. I admire the spirit that all CHCHers have got. You have had to go through so much over the last 6 months, and now you are back to square one and a lot worse!

Take care everyone

Best wishes to you all

Hi all

Never woke to any aftershocks last night, just that pain in my mouth.  I did find going out in the garden and picking some sage to boil up with honey worked very well, it took the pain right down, still have the ulcer under the tongue, but will keep up with the sage mouth wash.  It is meant to be good with nerves and gall bladders as well, so I am on a win win situation here.

Got a email from a distant relation, he said the Mannings are related to my Lyall family.  So the children of Donna Manning share my ggg grand parents, how strange with these connections.  The family are keeping the children out of the media's site, and the police have told them no one could possibly live through the fire and rubble of the CTV building.  Sadly the children have not given up hope on finding their mother alive.

Not sure about taking up home in Wellington!  Of all places that is due for a big shake is Wellington.  I heard a Maori elder saying he saw in a dream about Wellington having a earthquake this coming June, lets hope he is wrong.

Another man who has put the woollies up your jumper is the moon man, he is still saying about another big one down here in March 20th, based around Hamner Springs and will be at least a "8".  If that ever happened it will reach both Wellington and Christchurch.  Lets just hope he is wrong.

Better go get breaky for the family
Suzy W

Apart from that I am not up to date with any other news
TEW family of Leire/Leicester and New Zealand
MERRICKS of Stafford/Birmingham
PENTECOST of Surrey and New Zealand
POTENTIER of France, England and Canada
WATKINS of London and New Zealand
WHITAKER of Guiseley Yorkshire and New Zealand
LYALL, of Dundee, Caithness and New Zealand

And far too many to add
