kanturk cork looking for any bonds

i am looking for my mother side of the family,my mother was born in kanturk cork,her mother was born julia O'REILY her father was from limerick john bond,could any one help me please .

You have posted in the commonroom, and I expect the best place for this post would be the Ireland Board.  A moderator will move it to there hopefully.

In the meantime, have you looked up the Irish censuses?  Both the 1901 and 1911 are online.
You haven't put dates that you are interested in, so hard to give you much more.

If you look here: www.irish-roots.ie they have many many parish records (baptisms, marriages and burials)  Not too cheap though at €5.00 per record!  But if you can narrow down dates and names, you could find what you are looking for.

Do you have any years of birth or marriage for Julia and John ?

If their marriage and/or were after the start of civil records you could locate references for civil certs in the BMD Index.

Hello Mick. There is no registration on the LDS site for a Bond having been born in Kanturk in the 1900's from what I can see. There are two female alright in the late 1800's. There was a marriage for a John Bond in 1923 in Kanturk, but no corresponding Julia O Reilly. Maybe she went by another name too. If you could count back 20 to 45 years approx before your mum was born it might be a good starting point for a birth record of Julia. Best of luck Din.

I am descended from O'Reillys near Kanturk. I do not have a Julia on my family tree but there are not too many O'Reilly families in North Cork.
