Look up SAUNDERS in South Australia

I am trying to find immigration and death details for John George SAUNDERS (born UK about 1821). Married Eliza BURN in NZ in 1842 and came to SA about 1846 I think, possibly with a child. He died sometime after 1854 and Eliza died in 1880. Any help would be much appreciated.

Son John SAUNDERS married Elizabeth (Spence) FINLAYSON at Wilcannia NSW #3943/1880 and were living at Laura in SA when Elizabeth died in 1887. Two children were born at Kingston SA in the Wellington district. Was that Kingston-on-the-Murray in those days?

Wentworth Cottage in Adelaide suggests the SAUNDERS family had their own residence in the city and spent time between NSW and SA at some time. (As did other folks up along the Darling who came down the rivers to Adelaide.

Thankyou everyone - I am starting to make some headway! I have found that a John Saunders held a hotel publican's licence at the Royal Hotel in Wentworth from 1873-1880 and I am wondering if that may be him.

I also found that a John Saunders was on the Wentworth Council in 1880. Probably the same one.
