James RICHARD (RYCHARD) Breage 1619
« on: Friday 25 February 11 01:26 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone direct me to a good site that will help me look at births for this period please?  I've tried cornwall parish registers, but birth not listed.  I am struggling to go back from this date.

James married a Grace Williams in 1642.  I have their childrens details but parents I am not doing so well at.

Many Thanks,

Julie

HI
YOu can see some transcriptions here, sorted by surname
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~althea/Breage%20Baptisms%201597%20to%201631%20Sort.htm

With these dates you are getting near the beginnings of the register and the pages are in shocking condition..large holes in pages as you can see noted in some years.

you can see them in register order here

Ther is a tree with the family here
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=tbennett54&id=I8620

I see they have taken Jacobus' christening for James
So this would be an interesting track to take, whether you can subsequently find any mentions of Jacobus..or was he in fact James??
