Bookbinders of West Bromwich
« on: Wednesday 23 February 11 18:14 GMT (UK) »
My grandmother and great Aunt were both bookbinders in West Bromwich. I believe at Kenrick & Jefferson's. Does anyone have any information on this company, employees etc.

Kenrick and jefferson's in west brom were closed and a shopping complex is there now, m&s for less, next clearance, domo bags, meca bingo and gap plus a designer  dress shop. I live up further up the road from where it was.

Try http://blackcountryhistory.org/collections/search/?q=kenrick+jefferson&cb_submit=Search also.

I have some K&J employees in my tree, one bookbinder c1910, (and I used to work directly opposite their main entrance in the late 1970's!)
