Fletcher family in Whitby area

Hi All,
trying to get some help please. This is reference a George Fletcher born 1863 in Ruswarp Whitby area and died 1931 possibly in Staithes area. I need a little confirmation of these dates etc and confirmation reference his father, possible date of birth 1839 in the same area and possible name William Fletcher. Any help anyone can give would be most welcome. Many thanks in anticipation.

Have you checked  the 1881 census which is free to search yourself on the link below - there is an entry for him with all his family

FreeBMD has a George Fletcher born Sept 1862 in Whitby District (volume 9d page 403)
It also has a George Fletcher death in June 1931 again in the Whitby District (volume 9d page 550) aged 64 which makes him born in 1867.

There is a William Fletcher born June 1839 in the Whitby District (volume 24 page 480)...
