I'm trying to trace my grandmother born in Rathkeale and married Andrew Mulcahy d 1960 Cork

There is a 1911 entry for them - 9 Rock Terrace Cork - all are shown as born in Cork City and married for 5yrs

spot on Carole - i missed the born in Cork piece in the Census!!!!
Family history always said she came from Rathkeale!!
I will go back that root and try Cork in 1901.

Depending on whether you know which month she was born in - there are 2 possible births in Cork in 1881

Think the John McNamara 1841 is more likely to be honest - very close to my grandafather's home then

Do you mean the 1911 entry for Cremmins Lane - parents John 60 & Catherine 55 - Hannah was 20

Her marriage cert to Andrew should give parental details

This IGI entry is for a 1879 birth so may not be her - just something to bear in mind perhaps

i think it may be that one!! I remember thinking in the past was she born Cork - the line i had was John born c 1841 mother Catherine born c1846 - did not have a surname for the mother.

What is the IGI reference from?

Pardon my ignorance - better at doing dog pedigrees - i have 80,000!
