King James' Grammar School admissions look up offer 1848 - 1925
« Reply #18 on: Sunday 28 March 10 17:12 BST (UK) »
I have recently obtained a book about King James' Grammar School at Almondbury near Huddersfield. In it is a list of names of boys who were admitted to the school between the years 1848 to 1925. If anybody would like a look up please give me a rough idea of dates, plus name. The boys' names are listed in the book as surname plus initials only of first name.

I 'm transcribing Christ Church School registers, Harrogate, register from 1888 to 1915, to a spreadsheet. I'm happy to look up any surnames to provide addresses, parent's name and dates of attendance.

Hi,

I go to the archives about once a fortnight and could spare an hour or two of the time I am there  to help.

They have the Parish Records for much if not all of the Wakefield Diocese.

Thanks

Jenf
