Went yesterday, my luck held. The maker of the vehicle is Pattinson; the registration number is EBH 112, so the photos on flikr are of the same vehicle.Though the buddlei is growing again, things have changed in that the house is now up for sale, so some of the vegetation has been cleared. There is considerably more than just the chara, on the back of it, and not yet fallen through is a petrol driven lawnmower, apparently of similar vintage to the vehicle. The chara tyres are new, but the body is falling apart, and not just due to the mower. In front of the chara as seen from West Road is a Fordson tractor, again of similar age, in front of that and next to the pavement is an upright two wheeled machine which looks as though it might be an old version of those used for melting and applying white lining to roads. As I was pressed for time I resisted the temptation to ask if the vehicles were included in the sale. With judicious restoration and a millionaire enthuisiast then one could perhaps get a large property in Kew for a few Łthousands.I took some photos which I will post on this thread once I have downloaded them.
