Hi
Can you tell us where you have already found them, and where you are needing help with your search?
Then we wont spend time duplicating effort on what has already been done.

To start with remeber FreeBMD and the 1881 census are free to search, so they will be the first places to look for the marriage, and for Ann after her marriage.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hi Thomas Mallam/Mallams name is transcribed wrong in the 1881 census .It is written as Mealan but is clearly Mallam and they are living in Ightfield,Shropshire and they had two children Alfred aged 3 and Mary Ann aged 8 months.Ann is born in 1852 and is 29.As a matter of interest there are Mumfords still living in Nantwich,Cheshire as I know some of them and they may be connected.

In 1901 the Malams are living in Ash Parva,Whitchurch and thomas and Ann are still living there with their grandaughter and Thomas is an agricultural worker.I cant find them yet on 1891 census yet but the name is spelt differently and that may be why you may have problems. If you need any more info just ask!!

Thankyou all for responding.I got the names Thomas MALAM and Ann Mumford from the birth certificate of their son Arthur William.I found the census reference with the misspelling Mealam and know this is the same family but I can find neither birth nor marriage for Ann and there are at least 4 Thomas Malams in his probable birthyear.I know they were in Ightfield but have no access at the moment to parish records.I am grateful for any help.
      regards Pat

Hi
I may be able to help you with regards to the marriage as my family connections com from that area. Unfortunatley I have a dissability which prevents me from staying on the computer for too long so it may take me a while.
