William W Grant born about 1841 Cuxwold Lincolnshire

I am looking for information of the above person.  His parents were William born about 1806 Cuxwold and Ann Bailey born about 1807 South Kelsey they were married 1st August 1826 South Kelsey, they had 9 children William being one of them.

I have my William on 1841, 1851, 1861 1871 1881 census. On 1871 I see he is married to Eliza, I dont know when they got married.

I dont know the parents of William (1806) or Ann Bailey (1807)

Any information would be much appreciated.  On any of the Grant family

Have you checked freebmd for a marriage between 1861-1871?

A William Grant married either an Elizabeth Grazeley or Caroline Smith Sept quarter 1869. Boston 7a 585.

The other bridegroom was Edward Craven, so you need to find him in 1871 to see if he married Caroline.

1871 shows eldest child 4 and another aged 2 - both born Hull so marriage could have been there although both William & Eliza were b Lincs

It was Caroline SMITH (and his father's name was Joseph).

From the 1881 census - his middle name was Wright

Yes, and his birth reg shows that he was born a GRANT, he didn't change his name.
