I got it from GRO
husband's name was given as Thomas not Dennis
son-in-law was informant - her only son-in-law was my G Grandad Thomas Tyer
address was Consett but she lived in Trimdon

Have you seen this website -  www.trimdontimes.co.uk  - there is also a forum on there besides lots of other useful info about Trimdon.  It helped me when I was searching for my Durham lot!!

Just thought I'd mention it :)

Son-in-Law's are not going to be the most accurate informants on a death certificate. Consett was in Durham NW.

Barry is right. If Dennis died way back in 1913 the son in law may have got her husband's name wrong.

Of course you say that Thomas Tyer was your Ann's only son in law, which is the reason you believe this certificate is incorrect.

But still it may be worth keeping in mind that sometimes informants give incorrect details.
