My Dad was a great historian, sadly he died in 1999, He certainly would know a lot more than me, however I seem to remember that the Hart's are connected to us, my sister or brother may know more, I will speak to them in the next few days and let you know. Think they now live in a pIace called Tulsk.
As a child we went to the National school in Ballinameen and walked the 3 miles , from the age of 6 to 14, so I know the area pretty well. In fact there is only 1 other family of Moran's in that region, I doubt if they are connected, otherwise Dad would have told us, as we all attended the same school.
I also have , somewhere , got photo's of the Moran sisters from Ballinameen,( my 2nd cousins )in time I will send you them.
Have you had a dna done, my older brother has had his done before Xmas, and it confirms we have relatives in Australia, It is a very useful tool, maybe not so much now, but in the future.
