George Fricker was born/baptised circa 1784,East Knoyle,Wiltshire.
At some point, probably after discharge from the Army in 1814, he moved to St. Mary, Scilly Isles,Cornwall and his wife was Mary, family name possibly "Thomson" or "Thompson".was born/christened in St.Mary Scilly Isles, Cornwall on 18th March, 1793.Her siblings are possibly Elizabeth (1789),Sarah ( 1796),John ( 1797)
In 1814 George was discharged from the army through having a diseased foot.he was discharged in Plymouth.
In 1871,his wife Mary is a widow.
Their children were all born in St. Mary,Scilly Isles,Cornwall from about 1816 onwards, children Mary,Eliza,Elizabeth,Sally,John,George.
John and George emigrated to the Colony of Victoria, with their wives arriving at Melbourne,Victoria on the "Tornado" in September 1856, and settling at Coghills Creek straight afterwards, where they both started their own families.
I am trying to find links to the Fricker family connected with George Fricker of East Knoyle,Wiltshire, circa 1784.Possible siblings of his are Robbin (1777),Elizabeth ( 1779),Love Charity ( 1788), Kizia ( 1790),another Elizabeth ( 1791)The 1st Elizabeth of 1779 may have died.
Possibly a contributing member's family history maybe a connect with the above or has come across information related to the above Frickers/and or can give me some advice about my search for my Wiltshire Fricker ancestors.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated !
Thank you !
