Thanks! China or anyone who is there....on this. During that time period, was there a date for a girl to have a special photo done, 16,18,21 as there has been in some eras? She is very young and not sure which sister she is.

Well...as far as I know Victorians liked to mark milestones with photos, but I'm not entirely sure of the significance of various birthdays except that 21 was considered a social adult and 18 was an adult as far as the labour laws were concerned.

Why don't you ask this in the Common Room, you'll get greater exposure there
