There are several marriages on FreeBMD for a George Cooper marrying an Edna; would really need to know roughly when and where they married.

Perhaps if you search on the FreeBMD site and list the surnames, places and years;   one of them might jog your mum's memory.

As posted elsewhere, we have Coopers here...all related to our Fox's, Grant's, Walker's, and Weston's  they all came originally from your area....Leciester, England......can these be the same relations??

We am not sure but would this help as a "reverse" stating point to find your Cooper's:

Our "Hannah Elizabeth Fox", born 01/24/1887 in Leicester married one "HARRY COOPER." Assuming Hanna was between 14 and 18 you would have a marriage date of 1901 to 1905.

Children from the union:
Lillian
Elsie
Flossie
James

It's a long shot but we were thinking that since Hannah Fox can be found in the records, [leciester], one should be able to look for her and a marriage to Harry Cooper...... from there you may have other leads.  This may also find the Coopers in surrounding areas.

We are searching all our Cooper info and will also provide what we find.  Hope this may lead somewhere.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has a ANN COOPER born about 1793 barrow upon soar,leicestershire. she married JOSEPH DARBY the 30 of June 1814 barrow upon soar. Ann was christened the 27 may 1793. I am not 100% sure but I have her parents to be WILLIAM and CATHERINE COOPER.  I am first trying to find out if someone knows if they had any children because I haven't found any yet for JOSEPH and ANN. Secondly if I have the right parents for ANN.
