Hi. I have just found this thread from a few years ago and am excited to see St Ives Leadgate come up in the conversation. I have been looking for the death/burial place for my great great grandparents for ages as have my mother, her cousin and her aunt. They were a mining family of Irish descent called Kennedy and they lived most of their adult lives at Iveston, mostly at 10 Redwells Hills Cottages. They were Hugh Kenney 1842-? and Dorothy nee fairless 1842-1918 and in 1911 they were living at 10 Redwells Cottage as was Dorothy on her death certificate. I have been told that St Ives is the closest church and therefore the one that they must be buried there but i haven't managed to get an address to contact. I will call the number on this thread and hope it is still live, it may tell me when Hugh died which is still a mystery although Dorothy was a widow in 1918. If anyone has come across a grave for either of them I would love to know, mum and Marcia are in their 80s and have been looking without the advantage of the internet for over 50 years!
