Have an extensive history for McLeman.

Thank you very much.  Yes, I've seen the entry above that one, but my interest is actually with Rev. William Bruce, his family traces back to Corskelly, Lonmay, Aberdeenshire.

Hi Melinda,
Am wondering if there's a headstone for a David Sturrock (I think?...am not 100% sure of the "David" bit!)  in that Arbroath Cemetery?
I'm just starting down this line, as I suspect my late husband descended from his daughter Helen. He possibly would have died around 1839/40 as he doesn't feature in the 1841 census. His children (in that) were: David (15) Ann (12) Elizabeth (6) William  (4) & said Helen (aged just 1)
His wife (Elizabeth) was around 40 in that 1841 census.
Helen later (1860) immigrated to NZ.
