Fanny Levine b1904 and parents

Hi all, I now have the birth certificate of Fanny Levine in my position. Attached.

Any help to find more on her parents (Wolf and Beila) would be appreciated.

Thank you. I’d previously see that but discounted it. I can’t remember why and it now seems to fit. I think I may have been wrong.

It certainly matches up with his daughter and mother having the same name.

I’ve just signed up to Ancestry again so will have another look properly.

Thank you. I have this but I’m not yet sure it’s him as there were possibly 2 Woolf Levine’s in that part of London.

The confusing part may be explained by Woolf or Beila of being married twice (or there actually being 2 Woolfs).

We know that the grave of Bella Levene (1879-1949) includes Woolf noted on the stone. It’s at Edmonton Federation Cemetary.

I’ve also found a Woolf Levine married to Millie Maisiner (1891-1963) maybe in 1912. This Woolf had a mother called Fanny. Coincidence?

The reason why I discounted the census previously is because Woolf and Beila have children born in Russia and London. So he couldn’t have been on a census as a child, meaning the naturalisation is wrong too. Unless he did grow up here, Beila came over from Russia with children and then married him.

The family are being a bit awkward.
In 1911 they are in Short Street Spitalfields
Woolfe 35 ,Rebecca 33
Joseph 15,Lazarus 10 ,Fanny or Paucey as transcribed by A* 8, Mary /May 6 ,David 3 and Mark 1mths.

David Jack 1908-1970 looks like he goes on to be a professional footballer.
Mary born 11 .8.1906
Mark Monty 1911-2002.

Not getting them on the other censuses ,will keep digging.
There is an Isaac mmn Lavett born 1898 so they should be on the 1901.

Found them 1939 in Calvin st Spittalfields
Woolf ,Becky ,Mark 1911,Judah 1913 ,Freda 1914  and Nathan 1919.

1921 St George in the East -Woolf ,Rebecca ,Nathan and Marcus.
Her birthplace is interesting. It also gives his.

Trying to give enough info for you to find them but not so much that it causes a problem with copyright.
