Hi Jill, i forgot to say that Mary is buried at Grove Cemetery in Aberdeen. I went there in the summer to see if she had a gravestone, but unfortunately she is in common ground. Her name was written down wrongly as well. They had her as Martha instead of Mary.

Her married name was Duncan, she eventually married George Leiper Duncan i think in 1918 (i would have to check the certificate), and she died in 1925 in Aberdeen from a heart attack.

Mary had a daughter Georgina, who was my granny, but she died suddenly when my dad was only 2/3 years old. My dad was living with Mary until her death in 1925.

What side of the family are you from? . Hope to hear from you

Anne
