Hello Kalena7
Welcome to Rootschat  :)

I have spilt this into a new topic and hopefully someone will be able to help. In the meantime, please click modify and update your thread if you have mentioned anyone who is still living. We are not allowed to mention anyone still alive to protect against identity theft, etc

Do you know when and where Martha was born, when she married, and Mr Moore's first name? You can search free of charge for births, marriages, and deaths on freebmd:
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

I can see a marriage in 1916 of Martha Jones and Theophilus J Moore in Bedwellty district. Would this be the correct marriage?

Kind Regards
Morgan

Hi Kalena,

As Martha and Theophilus were married in 1916 we can't search for them together in a census. I would be best to purchase their marriage certificate which would provide their ages, addresses, father's names and occupations. This would help you to trace the right families as there were quite a few Theophilus Moore's in that area.  :)

Link to order certificates:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

Bedwellty volume 11a page 157 is the certificate reference number

Once you have the certificate, post the details here and we'll try to find the family.

Kind Regards
Morgan

There's a Theophilus John Moore born Bedwellty district in 1897 that is a possibility, but you need the marriage certificate before you order a birth certificate.
