I am looking for some information about a WILLIAM RAE (a blacksmith, I believe) who married my aunt Jemima Muir
Any information would be welcome

I see that they married in 1912 in Lochmaben. 

You could download the full certificate  from Scotlands People for 6 credits and find his age and parents .

Could he have been a widow?

There is this family on the 1901

1 Townhead St, Lochmaben

Rae

William, 26, blacksmith
Margaret, 20
Jemima, 4
Robert, 1
Isabella J , 3 months
Janet Easton, sister in law,  16, domestic servant - unemployed
Robert Gilespie(?), boarder, 9, blacksmith, b. Dalbeattie, Kkd

All b. Lochmaben except Robert Gillespie

Margaret Rae, other name Easton, aged 28,  died in Lochmaben in 1909 so I think that this is the William Rae.

This looks like his birth from the IGI

Lochmaben 6 Aug 1874 - William Rae
Parents  - Robert Rae and Jemima Cameron


Names fit with the children on the 1901
