Is she married in the 1841 census ,if so the details or abode may make it easier to track her down,or  is she still with her parents,

there is a Mary Hannah Tyson born Gateshead 1823 parents John Tyson and Mary Smith she is with them in census and doesn't appear to marry,

This link shows her in 1881, still unmarried and living with her recently widowed, sister Elizabeth Smith (nee Tyson).

The death of Mary Hannah Tyson, aged 63, is registered at Durham in 1886 Q3 10a 169. GF

Hi. I am reasonably certain that this is the correct family but I am not sure if telephone was previously aware that they had a daughter called Elizabeth. GF

Thank you both for your help

Glenfield you are right didn't know about Elizabeth - Mary Hannah is the right one

They are the family of the Rev John Tyson  I had 7 children now I will add Elizabeth.
Henry Edward appears to be the only one that came to NZ.

Hello telephone.

I read this this thread with interest because yesterday I got a letter from a Port ALBERT lady asking if I could help. She does not have a computer, so both "Johnbarr' & I have been helping. See attached clipping.

If you would like contact with this researcher please get back to John or I.
