Dennis HOLMES emigrated to Australia 1956

Hi
Im trying to locate the descendants of Dennis Holmes b 1899 hoylake cheshire. I dont know his wife but believe they ( grandchildren) were in Brisbane Qld Australia.....
Im also in Australia...

Queensland BDMs births online only go to 1914 so can't look there.
No death of Dennis up to 1964 in Qld. (limit of availability)
Do you have any other info?  Christian names?
Have you searched newspapers for birth notices?
Any idea of where in Brisbane they may have lived?
Dennis's occupation?

Ive done some more research on Dennis Holmes.. He was Dennis Eugene Holmes b28.1.1925 in West Kirby Cheshire England died in Sydney in 1992 and had 3 children (*) in England I think... Thats all I know at this stage...

The family came on the Fairsea in 1960.
