What does it say / where is it?
« on: Saturday 12 February 11 00:25 GMT (UK) »
The following is taken from a baptism entry - early 1800s.  I'd very much like to hear opinions on what the town / village may be.

Thanks

Hi,

I was just about to post Gloucestershire too - but I can't find any "B" towns that fit with the first word.

The second word is Gloucestershire - it's the town/village/locality that is unclear.  Thanks

Could it be New Wear - meaning New Weir? Admittedly it doesn't look like a very good N, though the W's (if that's what they are) look similar. Do you have any more of the page that we can compare the letters to?

There's a Brockweir (but it doesn't say that). :)

Where was the baptism?
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Google provides references to Broad Weir in the Bristol area, and may have
something to do with the river Frome. Could that be the place?
