I've yet to explore the Manchester lot - apparently they were all in the Cotton Manufacturing trade so that should be intriguing too!  :)

Oh wow, thanks for that link RonOne, what a great website!  Looks like things were pretty tough for workers in the Cotton trade in the 19th C.  I'll be returning to that site when I can turn my attention to the Manchester line on my tree.  I'm waiting for a marriage certificate to make doubly sure that I've got the right family in Manchester, the name of my great grandmother is Mary Branson and there are a lot of Bransons up in those parts!

I'm focused on the Liverpool lot at the moment, so much yet to do on them - they had large families!

STOPP in West London and Bucks.  AUGUST, FEHRENBACH in London.  ISAAC, BLUNDELL in Liverpool.  BRANSON, WALSH in Manchester and Bucks.  GUNN in Bucks.  PEACE, STOCKINGS, STARKYN, BULLIN and ROOM in North Norfolk.
