The 1851 entry for our Laker family in W.Grinstead is actually Honeybridge not Honey Lodge.... just thought I'd point that out in case you were trying to research the area. The family were also there in 1841. I have Felix in all the census years except 1861 so maybe he was just missed for some reason or wrongly transcribed.
Thanks for the info. on Albert. I haven't been researching him, only his brother Felix, seeing as that's my direct line but thanks for the details though. It's always nice to know bits & pieces and of course that makes us related !!!
I'd love to see photo's of them but I don't have any unfortunately. I expect someone out there has some and I live in hope of finding one sometime.
