I had a look in the Mitchell Library today and have noted down the inscription on the Bain gravestone at Skene and its location. I also checked the Confirmations, so have details about the estates of Robert Bain, his son, Harry, and his wife, Ann Henderson. I also have a reference to a son in Canada.
