Bath hotel

My Gt. Grandmother,Sarah Ann Milward and family took shelter at the "Bath Hotel" after their home,Norton Lodge,Oystermouth was gutted by fire in May 1887.
Does anyone have any information on that Hotel,which presumably doesn't exist anymore ?
Any information is gratefully received.

Would that be the Bath Hotel, 296-298 Oystermouth Road, Swansea?

Still there as far as I can tell.

KGarrad,I think it must be.as Norton Lodge is in Norton Avenue and Norton Road and Oystermouth Road is nearby.
I am amazed the Bath Hotel is still in existence.
I will try to find the hotel on the internet,now that I know it is still there.
I am hoping they may have records of guests for that period and I want to try to get a photo of the establishment too.
I really appreciate this lead.

I simply Googled!

Couldn't find any pictures, though.
And, pure guess-work on my part, that it is probably now a pub?

Have  a look on Google Earth and if they have "street view" you may be able to see what it looks like now.

Google in China is compromised so I don't use it.Concessions were made so they could have a presence here and it all turned pear shape a little while ago.

The Bath Hotel on Oystermouth Road changed into the Abertawe Ale House maybe 20 years ago. I think that it is about 2 miles from Norton. The Mumbles area is closer to Oystermouth and I wonder if there was a Bath Hotel there, too?

The Abertawe Ale House is now a pub; I think you can stay there though its a pub bed and breakfast etc. if you can rather than full blown hotel. Not sure if it has a reception, other than the bar.

I had lunch there a couple of years back and it was nice if quiet on the day.
