ps the version of the "how do I" on the fujitsu website just tells you to "switch it on" but not how to !!!!!

hold the function key down (sometimes called "FN" or even "funct")
and press the "f1" key

probably just as well Helina, item 1 recommends reading the  manual, the second for the moment escapes me and I suspect the third indicates to use a larger hammer but I could be wrong
