Hello all, have been researching family tree. Family story goes that we originate from Aberdeenshire, but so far have only traced family members in Durham/Sunderland. Seem to have hit a wall now, as I have record of Roberts death and age in Durham, but no baptism. He was born around 1718, married a Jane Hewitt and his first born was named Andrew. Wondering if he may have been born in Scotland, and would be really greatful for any advice or assistance, as not sure where to start. Have joined Scotlands people, can anyone recommend any other useful sites ?
