Hi, does anyone know where the Stoke-Talmage Beiselys fit in? My G-G-GM was Harriet Beisley who married a James Perrin.
She was born abt 1847 in Stoke Talmage, Oxon and was a servant in Lewknor, oxon in 1851
I've had to pick about for her relatives but they look like
James Beisely b 1816
Mary Beisely nee ? b1816
Sarah Ann Beisely b 1837
Theadoria Beisely b 1838
Charlot Beisely b 1841
John Beisely b 1843
James Beisely b 1848
Jane Beisely b 1850

She married a James Perrin sometime around 1871 because their eldest son is born in 1872.

I cannot find them in 1871 census, nor a wedding, nor a birth/death record for her. I know she is the mother as I have the birth certificate for her youngest son (my g-gf) If anyone can shed some light, i'd be so grateful, they are causing a massive headache!

Hi Chopsuey

I know this thread is now quite old, but i hope it still works. I have been to Oxford Record office to look at the records. I could not find a bapt for John Bazeley in Noke 29th May 1719 as you noted on your post in February, could you look at your records and confirm where he is bapt.
I did find the bapt for Mary Grant in 1718 d of William & Mary, and William Grant's marriage to Mary Coalman 26/01/1717.
I did not find any reference to your John's marriage to an Elizabeth in Noke, I also looked at the records in Buckinghamshire but could find no mention except to a Joseph and Elizabeth Beazley in 1816, children Raymond, Letitia, Edwin, Joseph, Charlotte & male child 2 weeks, residing in Ickford.
Hope you can help with this date for John.

Hi Suellen,

Just came across your message when revisiting the dilemma I have with John Beazley who married an Elizabeth some time in the 1770s and they settled in Ickford Bucks and died there.  I also could not find the baptism for John of Noke 29 May 1719.  That record was actually given to me, but it is still likely that he is somewhere around the area.  His father was christened at Bladon, Ox. so could be there.  The Joseph that you mention is the eldest son of John and Elizabeth Beazley.  I have his birth records and they are confirmed by Bucks RO.
