Any good free UK site about Tranmer Family History I know their are CHesire Papers I have access to being a descendant of Tranmer's. Apparently King Richard was very found of a specfic Tranmer. My Tranmer line has been traced back to the time of Henry VIII.
ANyone having information about this family and its name is appreciated, they all studied and became ministers and teachers.
My Line was of Reverend James Mason Tranmer born in 1863, New York USA.
His father Thomas Tranmer born 1827/28 England. and his father
John Tranmer born about 1790-1800 ENgland.
