I am beginning to think she may have gone back and forth a few times. That would account for the different dates.
What do you think

Yes, I suspect that may be the case.  I also wonder if she perhaps travelled with a sister or 2 sisters but I need to find that record again - to check if the ages fitted. Have a feeling it just said Misses McPhee's   ???

There was a Millicent born 1877 who appears on the 1891 Census who I think is your Uelencort on the 1881 Census .  Canadian Passenger record for a Miss M McPhee travelling Halifax. Nova Scotia to Boston 23 Sept 1903 on the Halifax. Tourist and no further info.

Mcphee  - Aged 24 years. Born about 1873
Port of Departure: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to Boston. Massachusetts on SS Halifax - Arriving 2 August 1897.
3 are listed - ages 26 years, 24 years and 21 years.

On the 1891 Canadian census - Augusta was born 1871. Sarah 1873. Mary 1875 and Millicent 1877  ???
