Does anyone have any old photos of Applemarket Street Northwich? Or any of the old market?
I'm aware of copyright issues but would love to have a look.

Can't find Applemarket Street but this is a good site for 'looking'

Yes it's a good site and I have used it, but I don't know Northwich so I can't tell which of the photos of Northwich on the frith site are of Applemarket St. None of them acually say " Applemarket".

Hi, I was at the Weaver Hall, Workhouse and Salt Museum in Northwich just before Christmas and they had books and photo's of 'Old Northwich'  The staff were extremely helpful.  It might be worth giving them a ring.  The contact details are on the following site.

You are welcome, good luck.  The museum had quite a lot of photographs so fingers crossed.  You could also try the Northwich library.

Hi, just another thought, not sure how far away from Northwich you are, but there is a family history fair in the Memorial Hall on 19th February.  There is sure to be someone on the day that could help.  Details are at this site

Hi, Carolyn, I just had a thought and checked the Cheshire Archives site of Cheshire Images and there are a few on Applemarket Street.  Just enter the street in the search box.
