The deeds are at Calderdale record office. As it says it's a bundle you will need to make a personal visit and phone beforehand so they can have the documents ready for you. You will need to tell them the catalogue reference number.

The deeds may well not be photocopiable (old and fragile) so you will need pencil and paper to make a transcription - no pens in record offices.

Good luck!

Have you tried the local studies library on the first floor of Huddersfield Library/Art Gallery.  Alternatively you might search for a picture on the Kirklees Image Archive - that is a bit hit and miss, but there are some useful pictures.  My third offering is a phone call to the librarian at The Huddersfield Examiner - very helpful, I have found.

If you need computer help, the people at The Huddersfield & District Family History Society will offer help.  They are based at a new build business unit - The Root Cellar, 33A Greens End Road in Meltham.  Quite close to St Bartholomews Church.  They are open Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 2-4.30pm, plus Wed morning and alternate Thursday evenings 7-10pm.  Good luck with your searching.

Just browsing this site for the first time and noticed your enquiry. Don't know if I can help. Round Ings was 'separated'  from New Hey Road via a bridge over the M62 in the early 1970's when the M62 opened at junction 23 Outlane. If you look at a map the very first bridge a few hundred yards from 23 toward 22 is in fact Round Ings. I don't live that side of town anymore but from memory there are just a few properties. One is a converted chapel and I think there was a short terrace of houses. Know this isn't much info but at least you can pinpoint it on any map. j
