Harold BRIERCLIFFE
« on: Sunday 06 February 11 06:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi everyone
I'm doing research into Harold Briercliffe who wrote the cycling books as i believe there maybe a connection with his family and mine.  I did write to his daughter but as I received no reply I need to find another contact.  I looked on the BDM site and found an Andrew BRIERCLIFFE born in Hitchin in 1950, so I would like to track him down and write to him.  Harold Briercliffe married Mary B. CLUFF in Hitchin in 1948 so this looks like a good match.  Their is one P Briercliffe living in Hitchin so I will drop them a line. If anyone knows how I can locate Andrew I would be very grateful. Any help much appreciated kind regards Dianna

Hi Patricia thank you for that, I did look for a death on the free BDM maybe I didn't do it properly or something, was his death in Hitchin, I suppose it was, that's really sad but I have found another one in the BT phone book in Hitchin there is a P. Briercliffe, I will just send a letter to Mr/Ms as I don't have a name, hopefully the phone book is up to date but it wont hurt to send a letter.  Many thanks for your help kind regards Dianna
